After I finished shooting the engagement session with Amanda and Cory I was flying high. The light was clean and interesting. I had been worried that we were just going to get a dreary Fernie winter day, but the light started peaking through just before we started. Amanda and Cory have such a strong connection with each other, and that came through in the very first frame that I snapped. I knew it was going to be a good shooting day. Plus, any time a session includes a 45 minute stop for a pint in downtown Fernie, it is a pretty good day in my books.

Sadly (for me anyway), they are getting married in Ontario so I won’t be able to take their wedding photos. Pretty jealous of whoever gets that job! I hope that you enjoy the images.
