Sometimes life throws a curveball. For Amanda and Ryan, that curveball was a pandemic. Originally set to marry in 2020, COVID forced them to pivot. Instead of dwelling on it, they got on with their lives, built a family, and finally, when the time was right, had a wedding at Kimberley Alpine Resort that was worth the wait.

You can't get much better than the top of Kimberley Alpine Resort for a wedding backdrop. Well, you usually can't. Mother Nature had other plans, filling the sky with smoke that hid the Rockies. Still, it created a surreal setting that seemed to say, 'Even in obscurity, love shines.'

After the ceremony, we all got a bit more 'nature' than we bargained for. The rain came pouring down on our chairlift ride back. No umbrellas, but hey, Amanda found shelter under Ryan's jacket. It's moments like this—a simple act—that remind you what weddings are really about.

The Stemwinder Bar and Grill hosted the reception, and let me tell you, it was like releasing a pressure valve. Dancing, laughter, and libations but who's judging? After years of waiting, it was a party that had finally found its time.

What Amanda and Ryan had to Say:
"Kevan did our wedding and the photos turned out truly amazing. He worked with us in changing our dates several times due to Covid and having to reschedule our wedding. He gave us so much direction which we certainly needed and our pictures are some thing we will treasure forever. Highly recommend 6:8 photography for all your events! High quality photography, photos and service"
