Wow – I can’t believe it’s been just over two months since Chelsea and Wes were married!  They’re two of the kindest people I’ve ever met and they wanted to make the focus of their wedding week all about spending time with each other and the people they invited to be at the wedding.

Our day started out at Kinsmen Park in Cranbrook where they had an outdoor wedding ceremony, and then we spent the afternoon together going to a few different spots in town for their portraits.  Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Love the shot of this kid hanging out before the ceremony started!

Standing room only at this wedding!

This is apparently a pretty classic pose for a lot of their photos together.  🙂

While shooting downtown we bumped into a couple of their wedding guests who were getting a few refreshments at a local watering hole.

…it was fitting to do a group shot with all of them!

Our last portrait location was at their house.  The original plan was to just grab a bite to eat there before heading to their reception, but they had a nice red door that I couldn’t resist using!

Their reception was at the Cranbrook Golf Club and just before I was done shooting with them for the day I noticed the nice golden light streaming across one of the holes by the clubhouse.  I’m not sure if we were allowed out on the course, but easier to ask forgiveness than permission!
