I am excited to share this wedding from May today. There is nothing better than a Canmore wedding with great people. I love that they were willing to hike and go on an adventure for their photos!
Some simple bridal portraits of Dana.
Dad doing some quality control on the flowers.
Meanwhile, the guys were having a great time getting ready.
This was not staged in any way whatsoever.
Last minute quality control before the ceremony. Either that or a weapons check. Take your pick.
This was a bit unique. Dana and her girls elected to walk to the ceremony site (the knoll above Quarry Lake) through a path in the woods. Made for some great photo opportunities!
Dana came up over the hill and right into her aisle. Loved watching everyone’s reactions!
This was pretty awesome. Pat’s good friend sabered a champagne bottle (and also delivered quite the little speech on the history of champagne!). His first few attempts were a little wobbly, and I think everyone was a bit concerned. His satisfaction upon completing the task was great though!
You can see the relief on everyone else’s face here!
First kiss.
When confronted with an obstalce, just pick up your dress and go. With a little help of course.
The reception was held at the Cornerstone Theatre in Canmore.
Some pretty funny moments during the speeches.
