Shooting during the evening always produces the best results, as the light is so much indirect and saturated. Sadly, as wedding photographers, we don’t often get to actually use this light, except on engagement sessions. When Inni and James contacted us though, and indicated that they wanted to do some portraits in Banff, I knew exactly when to schedule them.

Add a very stylish couple to beautiful light and it is hard to go wrong. Add an inquisitive elk to the above, and you get a very memorable portrait session. Inni and James are from Hong Kong, so it was fun to mix the portraits with being able to show them some of the most beautiful spots around Banff!
