And so another wedding season comes to a close for us. Once again, I was totally blown away by all of the people that we had the good fortune to work with. Julie and Bryce’s wedding was a perfect cap to the year. Anytime you get to shoot at the Banff Springs Hotel and with the Lynn Fletcher team, you know it is going to be a good day!
Our coverage started just before the ceremony.
Bryce had such awesome reactions to everything throughout the day. This is just before their first kiss.
The weather was moving in fast, so we decided to get a couple of safe (and not unimportantly, dry) portraits before we left the limo to brave the elements.
The rain did come (pretty torrentially I might add) but not for too long. Love that they were willing to go out in it to get some shots!

Julie and Bryce’s reaction to seeing the room for the first time.
Making their grand entrance to the reception!
And right into the first dance.
I love shooting in Mount Stephen Hall because there are so many different sight lines. Especially when there are two photographers, it really allows you to focus on the story-telling behind the craft. Here Duane was able to get the shot of the bridesmaid giving the toast.
And I was able to focus on reactions.
Bryce seemed to be claiming that some of the stories told during Julie’s dads speech might have been a little fictitious. I don’t know who to believe! 😉
Thank you so much to Julie and Bryce – we had such a great time capturing your day. And thank you to all of our clients in 2013 – both Duane and I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings!
