We had the privilege of joining Nicole & Lukas for their wedding celebration at the Elk View Lodge last weekend.  I was thinking about it a little and realized I haven’t shot a wedding in Fernie since Amy & Darren’s at the end of June!  I like shooting in different places, but it sure was a treat not to have a long drive home after!

I really tried to narrow down the images from Nicole & Lukas’ wedding, bit it still a little long!  Here’s my favourites!

I wish all brides could get ready in a massive empty room with huge west-facing windows!

Getting a bride dressed really is a team sport!

Nicole looked stunning!

Lukas cleans up pretty well too.

Nicole’s beautiful bouquet by The Green Petal.

The skies started to get a little threatening while we were out doing their portraits.

We could see the wall of water coming over the Lizard Range, so following this set of shots we jumped in the car and went to our studio for a few more pictures before the ceremony.

You wouldn’t even know it rained and the weather was gorgeous for their ceremony!

Lukas was a wreck when Nicole came down the aisle!

The Elk View Lodge has a roof-top patio that has amazing views of the Lizard Range, and Nicole and Lukas carved out some time for us in the evening to go shoot up there right as the sun was setting.  Awesome!

Hula-hooping for kisses from the bride & groom.

Everyone loves being forced into the centre of the dance circle!
