I had the good pleasure of joining Noelle and Robin on their wedding day a little while ago in the little town of Wardner. It was a lovely back-yard affair full of family, friends, good food, laughter and tears.
Noelle and Robin did a first look in some of the old mine ruins nearby. Love it!
And then it was on to the ceremony down on the shores of Koocanusa. Not a bad backdrop to walk in to your ceremony to!
MJ’s Floral out of Cranbrook did the bouquets!
Noelle is an official member of the Hiking Brides Club now! Those rocks were slick, so I feel like we should give her double membership or something.
After the portraits we went back to the backyard to celebrate the evening.
There were lots of kids running around and having a blast. This caterpillar may have had to sign up for some post traumatic stress counselling after the night was over. He got passed around a little bit…
The kids did an impromptu performance, and melted hearts the way only kids can.
They started a new tradition of cigars and Scotch. I think more weddings should adopt this tradition!
A few quick portraits off the back deck as the sun was setting.
If I remember correctly (and I am pretty sure I do) they were re-enacting a Spice Girls video.
