I had the honour of being part of Priscilla & Jeff’s wedding in Calgary last weekend.  A lot of our weddings were either in Banff / Canmore or the Okanagan this year, so it feels like a long time since I’ve shot in Calgary.  Their ceremony was at St. Luke’s Catholic Church and we did all their portraits at the University of Calgary.

I really like the stained glass in St. Luke’s.  Too bad mass was starting right after the ceremony as I would have loved to do some portraits there!

I feel a little bad for the groomsmen.  I set up a portable light and had them haul it all over the UofC campus, never to use it. My bad guys!

Cash for Kisses with the proceeds being donated to the Red Cross.  The more money donated, the bigger the kiss..

During the reception we were occasionally heading outside to do some group pictures with some of their friends and the sun broke through the clouds right at sunset.  We instantly stopped what we were doing to grab some portraits with evening light.

The light filtered through this archway perfectly!  I was like a kid in a candy store!

One of my favourites from the day.

This one almost didn’t make the cut, until I noticed that the guy behind the couple was doing an awesome photo bomb.

Congratulations Priscilla & Jeff!
