When we first broke into photography, we did a lot of shooting for friends and family. As we’ve grown over the years that has become a much more infrequent thing, so its always a treat when I get to shoot friends from the pre-photography world. As I alluded to in the blog post from their engagement session – Roxane is a blast of life and energy and Jason is cut from the same cloth.
It was no surprise to me that their wedding was full of laughter. Like I had to put down the camera to belly-laugh at something ridiculous that had happened. I was fortunate to have Fernie photographer, Nick Nault along as my second shooter for this one.
Roxane’s dad seeing her for the first time.
Just before the ceremony.
The ceremony was at the Shannon Terrace Amphitheatre in Fish Creek Park.
They had a comic book theme for the wedding! I cannot express how much fun I was having trying different ring shot combinations… I think Nick thought I was a little crazy. Or five. Whatever, its not every day that you get to put Spiderman’s head on a platter and call it work.
